For the understanding of numbers it is important to be able to write numbers as words and to recognize the number correctly from a sequence of numbers and to be able to write it as a word.

The number twenty-five can appear in a text as a word or as the number 25.  

The number 15 is written as a word like this: fifteen

The number thirty-one is written as a number with digits like this: 31
