Can you compare numbers? This means that you can recognise numbers by their size and put them in the right order. Which number is bigger? Which number is smaller and which is equal to another? 

 

Two numbers can be the same, one number can be larger or smaller than the other number.

Das musst du erkennen können. Zwei Zahlen kann man vergleichen, indem man ein Anordnungszeichen setzt, nämlich ein Kleiner-Zeichen<“, ein Größer-Zeichen>” oder ein Gleichheitszeichen=“.

twenty-five is less than thirty. That is how it is written:

25 < 30 .

30 is equal to 25 + 5, which is written like this: 30 = 25 + 5.

online exercise 1 Always draw the correct arrangement sign in the middle between the numbers!
Exercise 2As in the first exercise, drag the correct less than sign, greater than sign or equal sign to the correct place!
